Hiking Trails of Montréal and Beyond will be a book written by Michael Haynes and published by Goose Lane Editions. It will appear in bookstores in June 2013.Hiking Trails of Montréal and Beyond will profile 50 walking routes located within approximately 150 km of the urban centre of the City of Montréal. There will be 10 routes found each in the Laurentides, Lanaudière, Montérégie, Cantons de l'Est, and Montréal/Laval regions.
The purpose of this blog is to provide a forum to make updates and corrections to the published route descriptions, once the book is published, and to provide additional information that could not be included in the print edition.
Readers of Hiking Trails of Montréal and Beyond are encouraged to add comments to this blog if they notice something has changed from the information listed in the route description, or even if they simply wish to relate their own experiences on these trails.
A French-language edition of this work will be published in 2013 (exact date unavailable) by Vélo-Québec.
